I'm Eric Rodriguez, and FastCreditUSA began long before it had a name — in a season of our lives that reshaped everything.
In 2008, during the global financial crisis, my wife Haydee and I lost our jobs within months of each other. The investment properties we had worked hard to build collapsed when our tenants — good people doing their best — lost their jobs too and could no longer pay rent.
The numbers stopped working. The savings disappeared. And we found ourselves sitting in a small apartment with a newborn, paperwork for properties we no longer owned, and a quiet question neither of us said out loud:
How did this happen so fast?
We weren't irresponsible. We weren't reckless. We were simply unprepared for a system that could change overnight — and for how quickly a family can go from "doing fine" to "not fine" when nobody is watching the whole picture.
That season taught us something we never forgot:
Most families don't fail because they're careless. They fail because they're alone.
Rebuilding
Rebuilding taught us the part nobody explains.
As we rebuilt our financial life piece by piece, we learned how credit actually works, how lenders think, and how small habits — the ones nobody teaches — shape everything from approvals to interest rates to long-term stability.
We learned that:
- credit is not a mystery
- debt is not a moral issue
- savings is not a personality trait
- and financial clarity is not reserved for the wealthy
It's simply information — the kind most people never receive.
Friends and family started asking for help. Then coworkers. Then small business owners. Then military families navigating moves, deployments, and transitions.
The pattern was always the same:
Good people doing everything they were told to do — still carrying a low-grade financial worry that never fully went away.
We recognized that feeling. We had lived it.
Why FastCreditUSA exists
Clarity should not be a luxury.
I became an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) because I wanted to offer the kind of guidance we needed back then:
- clear
- compliant
- calm
- practical
- pressure-free
- rooted in real experience, not theory
FastCreditUSA is built on a simple belief:
When someone finally explains what's true — in plain English — the next step becomes obvious.
We don't sell products. We don't make guarantees. We don't offer shortcuts. We don't use tactics that break trust or break the law.
We offer something more valuable:
A clear picture of where you stand, what matters, and what to do next.
Why we do this work
Because we've lived it.
Because we know what it feels like to lose stability. Because we know what it takes to rebuild it.
And because we know how powerful it is when someone finally says:
"You're not behind. You just haven't been shown the full map yet."
Today, we help individuals, families, and small business owners move from confusion to clarity — one conversation at a time.
If our story feels familiar, that's not coincidence. It's information. And it's the beginning of a different direction.
